Nissan just can’t stop winning! The automaker took top place in the AutoPacific Awards for the third straight year.
Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner
When it comes to winning awards, few automakers can contend with the never-ending success of Nissan. At this year’s AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, Nissan absolutely dominated the competition. Five different Nissan cars and SUVs took top honors in their respective categories, several of which continued to do so from past years.
“It is heartening to lead the field in terms of the most category winners in vehicle satisfaction. It means Nissan owners across a wide range of product styles and types really love their vehicles. We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Billy Hayes, division vice president, Nissan Sales, Nissan North America. One thing is clear: Nissan third year of winning the most awards is just the beginning.
Murano and Maxima Make a Splash
For the Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV category, the crown continues to lay upon the head of the Nissan Murano. Having reigned above challengers for the past four years, this makes the fifth consecutive win for Nissan’s iconic SUV.
In the Luxury Mid-Size Car category, the Nissan Maxima took a commanding lead once again. This makes it the fourth year in a row that Maxima took the lead.
“The Murano and Maxima continue to be unbeatable since their redesigns entered the market in 2015 and 2016 respectively,” said George Peterson, president, AutoPacific. “Even with new competition this year, the Murano and Maxima came out on top.”
Rogue and Altima: Top-Sellers, Top Winners
Alongside the Murano, Nissan’s Rogue was another winner in the Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV category. The Altima took the title for the Mid-Size Car category as well. With the Rogue and Altima leading Nissan’s sales, it isn’t a surprise they shined so brightly at the AutoPacific Awards.
Armada Angles for Victory
Not to be left out, the massive eight-passenger Nissan Armada pushed past all competitors to take the crown for the best-in-class Large SUV slot.
“It is heartening to lead the field in terms of the most category winners in vehicle satisfaction. It means Nissan owners across a wide range of product styles and types really love their vehicles. We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Billy Hayes, division vice president, Nissan Sales, Nissan North America
